Traditional sports sites and social media platforms are fundamentally broken. Algorithms prioritize slop content and lack real-time updates and a forum for conversation. NCAA Women's Volleyball and Women's Sports as a whole are also painfully underserved, especially on the data side.

Fanflare is here to change things. By creating a hybrid platform (social media meets live sports data) that promotes quality user-generated content and focuses on bringing the fastest scores, schedules, and numbers-based information to users, we believe Fanflare can serve as a holistic second-screen experience for NCAA Women's Volleyball and beyond.

The company is the brainchild of two massive sports fans, Elling Hofland and LJ Rader, who met as early employees at DraftKings and also worked alongside each other at Sportradar. They are experts in sports data, engineering, and social media, and are excited to build a platform they know the community desperately needs.
